An 18th century cream silk embroidered kneeler, framed and glazed, embroidered with polychrome silks and metallic threads with seed pearl decoration and two pleated concave kneelos. Possibly a wealthy family gift to a bride to use during her wedding ceremony and later as a keepsake as a bible cushion or church kneeler or other highly regarded use. Kneeler: 24cm high x 32cm wide.

The cream silk appears undamaged and the embroidery strong. The cream braid on the outer edges a later edition, possibly to protect the silk sides.
