A Persian fritware square tile, Qajar dynasty, 19th century, decorated with a kneeling figure holding a lion cub, with a raised star shaped reserve, the blue border relief decorated with acanthus leaves, approximately 24cm, later framed and mounted, 40cm

Condition:
The tile has some typical crazing to the glaze and some occasional small glaze losses to the surface, the mount obscures the edge of the tiles. We are unable to comment on the condition of the edge and back of the tile.
