A pair of Chinese ruby ground ‘Moon Festival’ medallion dishes, Jiaqing seal mark probably of the period, each painted to four medallions with auspicious objects, lanterns, flowers and fruit, on a ruby ground incised with scrolls, the underside with lingzhi fungus and floral sprays, fine red six character seal mark to base, diameter 24.5cm, slight damage to edges, wood stand

Condition:
The first dish has a few small glaze losses to the rim, a chip to the rim with a short hairline crack and a second hairline crack to the rim, the second dish has a few small glaze splinter chips to the edge, one more visible to the front. The wood stands have some sections missing or re-glued.
