From the estate of the well regarded Lewes collector, Brian Cramp. When poured, aromas of vanilla with delicious sent of chocolate, nutmeg, almond and orange blossom. 1999 was a small vintage of this beloved wine made famous by its starring role in the controversial Jonathan Nossiter wine documentary, Modovino. Aimé Gilbert of Mas Daumas Gassac was a radical nonconformist winemaker. These wines were some of the first designed to show terroir expression through uncloned vines, organic viticulture and chemical free farming. A true slice of oenological history.
