An attractive Egyptian revival pearl, gem-set and diamond brooch, circa 1900, designed as a winged scarab issuing two bird's heads, its body set with a pearl measuring approximately 8.5 x 7.8mm, its wings set with rose-cut diamonds and cushion-shaped citrines and demantoid garnets, the bird heads set with circular-cut rubies, mounted in silver and gold, length 4.8cm, gross weight approximately 7 grams, pearl untested
