A late 19th century polished brass and cast iron hallstand, the rectangular frame surmounted by turned finials and fitted with a top rail issuing two hanging hooks. The upright supports mounted with additional scrolling hooks and joined by a lower rail with further hanging pegs, the mid-section incorporating a slatted umbrella rack with decorative pierced scroll supports, raised on four slender turned legs with baluster knops, the whole standing on a shaped black-painted cast iron drip tray base, 203cm high x 70cm wide
