A Chinese Ming Longquan celadon ‘diaper and floral’ charger, 15th century, the centre carved with a diaper medallion, within a flower and leaf carved cavetto and a wavy line and foliate carved broad rim, burnt orange ring to the base, covered in a pale sea-green glaze, 45cm diameter

Provenance- collected by the vendor’s grandfather while working and travelling in South East Asia in the 1930s - 1960s.

Condition:
Typical minor glaze imperfections and a few small scattered burnt orange unglazed sections to the interior. Scratching and scuffing to the glaze front and back, remnants of kiln grit to the burn orange ring on the underside, otherwise in good condition.
