An early 20th century Chinese full length fuchsia coloured silk damask robe, with polychrome embroidered floral borders and sleeve bands. Possibly an informal ladies robe for consorts of the imperial palace or wealthy women of the day, approx. 188cm long.

Condition:
The front panel and shoulders of the fuchsia silk damask is badly faded from sunlight. The back panel and arms of robe are not faded and are strong in colour. The embroidered borders are strong in colour. The interior silk is faded in places. Ususful for restyling
