A Chinese silver 'landscape' tray, by Cumwo, Hong Kong, early 20th century, the tray finely engraved with figures on horseback in a river landscape scene, the border with similar applied decoration, stamped maker’s mark ‘CW’ and standard mark ‘85’, width 55cm

Provenance - acquired in the 1920s by an employee of the Netherlands-America Steamship Company. He lived and worked in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Jakarta from c.1920-1932; thence by family descent.
