A William & Mary style burr yew and walnut side table, late 19th century,
the oblong top with moulded edge, over a single frieze drawer, on barley twist supports united by an H-stretcher to bun feet, 74cm high, 93.5cm wide, 51cm deep

Provenance: The estate of a former antique dealer, artist and decorator; the contents of a country residence, near Tunbridge Wells.

Condition:
Sun fading to areas of the table all over, the top with substantial splits and small losses to the veneer, the front edge with splits to the moulding, the drawer linings with slight damage, the stretcher and back panel with some small chip losses to the veneers. Structurally sound though, and a good decorative look.
