lacks ff.45 (St John ch.10 part+ ch.11 most); 87 and 88 (Philippians chs. 1 part and 2 all); 97 (Hebrews ch.2 part and ch.3 -6 all); fol.49 - paper repair partly obscures approx.30 words (incl.6 lines of notes); fol.60 marginal clean tear; fol. 84 (i.e. 85) marginal repair affects some notes and 3 text words and (verso) repair top 2nd col. over 22 lines (some legibility), on both pp. sm. hole affects 6 words; fol.96 repair obscures lower margin notes; fol.102 repair obscures part of 8 lines top rh corner and some notes (recto); fol. 107 both pp. repairs mostly obscure approx. 70 lines top of leaf (incl. headlines). Also the usual intermittent non-obscuring stains and spots; some headlines cut close (+few cropped); binding - some spine wear and inner joints strengthened. At end (architectural title and 2 leaves pf Sternhold and Hopkins Psalmes (John Day, 1583), but possibly not called for? The final leaf Xxxxx6 possibly a blank? Foliation - occasionally misnumbered, but self corrects. Late 19th cent. bk label - Lawson
