An unusual early 20th century hand painted British Royal Exchange Assurance Company ensign. Formed in 1720 it insured ships and goods at sea, fire for buildings and life insurance. The company merged with Guardian Assurance in 1968, 180cm x 115cm. Condition - Fabric not torn, colours strong. Some rust staining where attached along one side at some point.
