The four character mark chuxiugong zhi relates to The Palace of Gathered Elegance located in the northeast of the Six Western Palaces of the Forbidden City. This was the residence of concubines in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Empress Dowager Cixi (1835-1908) once lived in the palace and gave birth to the Emperor Tongzhi.

Scratching and scuffing to glaze with some engrained dirt. No chips, cracks or restoration detected, otherwise in good condition.
