An early 1900’s American, possibly Pennsylvanian ‘robbing Peter to pay Paul’ quilt. Made with brick red and complimentary yellow tiny spot floral printed cotton. With a wide older chintz cotton border and block printed cotton backing, in similar colour way.
236cm x 224cm. Condition - the cottons are unfaded and strong. There is a stain on one border edge and similar stains on the chintz backing, marks possible to remove with professional cleaning.
