A canteen of George V Art Deco silver cutlery, by Charles Boyton, comprising twelve table forks, four slightly smaller table forks, twenty dessert forks (8 & 12) position of signature differs), eight cold meat forks, eight pairs of fish eaters, eight planished pastry forks, eight butter knives, eight soup spoons, three teaspoons, eight coffee spoons, eight grapefruit spoons, thirteen dessert spoons (7 & 6) position of signature differs, a pair of table or serving spoons and four serving spoons, 160.4oz, together with eight silver handled table knives with steel blades, eight silver handled dessert knives with steel blades, five other silver handled table knives with steel blades and seven other silver handled dessert knives with steel blades, with plain tapering handles and most engraved with the signature of the maker Charles Boyton, London, 1934/35 & 1938, serving spoon 22.2cm, no fitted box.

Condition:
There are signs of mild use in general, mainly consisting of nicks and surface scratches, particularly visible to the knife handles. Fork tines and spoon tips are in generally good order, with no major signs of wear. All loose, with no fitted canteen. Hallmarks clear and signatures clear but with a few with some fading.
