A massive Japanese bronze ‘dragon’ bottle vase, Meiji period, the long neck with petal lobed flared rim, encircled by a dragon with silvered highlights, clasping a glass ‘jewel’ in one paw, cast four character seal mark to base, 65.5 cm high, one claw missing

Condition:
The Dragon looks as though it was once silvered or gilded but now tarnished and very grubby, One of the front claws of the dragon is now looking lacking with a vacant hole, minor scuffs and scratches to the exterior of the vase, otherwise in good condition.
