A good pair of large Chinese famille rose fish bowls, 19th century, each painted with goldfish amid pond weed to the interior and phoenixes amid peonies and prunus to the exterior, brocade pattern borders, unglazed bases, 40.5cm diameter, 38.5cm high, wear to rims

Condition:
Typical minor glaze imperfections, somewhere to the gilding on the rims. One of the bowls has a splinter chip to the outside of the rim measuring approximately 28 mm x 13mm, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected.
