Larger clock is tortoiseshell-cased with ormolu mounts; dirty and tarnished; one section of tortoiseshell missing at one side near base; another section cracked; dial with small chips around each winding arbour; gong-striking Samuel Marti movement without pendulum and not tested. Smaller clock vertical split to case just beneath case; tested and not working.
