A pair of early 20th century oval silk embroideries of ladies standing by classical stone urns in a garden. Worked in pastel shades in silk using mostly stem stitch. Their faces, arms, hands and back ground silk hand painted. Framed in oval gilt decorated Verre Eglomise and wooden gilt frames with decorative ribboned bows above. 42cm wide x 51cm high, including glass. Condition - the embroideries are undamaged, as is the glass but the decorative ribboning at the top of the frame has many loses.
