Buckett R.N.V.R, comprising; the Atlantic Star, the Africa Star, the 1939-1945 Star and the 1939-1945 Medal, engraved with his name to the rear of the three stars and the edge of the 1939 to 1945 medal, together with the original issue slip, plus contemporary documents, photographs and a cigarette case, comprising the personal archive of Philip James Buckett, including official press photographs of warships, a seaplane, as well as other personal photographs in naval uniform, an official Christmas card from H.M.S. Superb, etc. Midshipman Buckett served aboard H.M.S. Hood and his death was registered by the Admiralty as 24 May 1941, contained within a military style tin box
