A coral bead necklace, mid 19th century, composed of graduated faceted coral beads measuring approximately 6-12mm, to a faceted coral cabochon clasp mounted in gold, length 55cm, clasp tongue deficient

Condition:
Clasp tongue deficient, would need replacing before clasp is usable again. A lovely, high quality example in good condition, coral of nice rich, typical orangey red colour, typical structure and mottling, some natural surface-reaching fissures from internal structure, some minor wear. Possibly later restringing. Gross weight approximately 60 grams.
