A Chinese blue and white ‘dragon’ dice bowl, Xuande mark, probably late Qing dynasty, thick walled, the exterior painted with two five-clawed dragons around the exterior frieze amidst flames and ruyi-clouds, between lotus lappets encircling the base and a border of waves around the mouth rim, the reign mark inscribed in a line under the wave-band, the interior in biscuit, the base unglazed, 8.5cm high, diameter 16.2cm
