A large framed early 19th century sampler (undated), worked by Mary Berry. The sampler finely worked with angels either side of a verse and with spot motifs of crowns, birds, trees, deer and baskets of flowers. Either side are two brightly embroidered follies and a house with flagged turrets, all surrounded by a vining floral border. 37.5cm x 47.5cm high.
Condition - the top left corner is stained and border a lighter stain. But the colours and backing fabric are strong.
