£500-700

Condition:
In good condition - sapphire is a pale blue with violet tones, visible inclusions but very attractive, with good translucency. Star is visible under spotlight but is quite subtle, and not easily visible in ambient light. Sapphire's weight is calculated and very approximate due to its slightly irregular shape. Surface wear to sapphire, and a surface-reaching inclusion to the base of the stone, but overall in good condition, commensurate with age, no major damage. Diamonds bright and lively, attractive, well-made early 20th century setting in good condition. The full setting is approximately 19 x 18mm from the front, including sapphire and its diamond border. Gross weight 8 grams.
