A Chinese jade and cabochon mounted hand mirror, the jade 18th/19th century, the oval mirror back inset with jadeite and gem stone cabochons around a pale celadon jade plaque, 9cm (probably removed from a ruyi sceptre), carved in relief with a ribbon tied gourd issuing flowers, the now detached handle mounted with a pale celadon jade dragon belt hook, 9.2cm, of good even tone, silver mount detached from oval mirror
£600-800

Condition:
The silver mount on the oval mirror has become detached from the mount for the dragon belt hook with evidence of some old glue to the area. The jade plaque insert into the mirror back appears to be in good condition but as it is mounted we cannot examine the edge or the other side. The dragon belt hook appears to be in good condition with typical inclusions to the stone, although we cannot examine the top of the neck joint as it is covered by silver .
