A large Japanese Satsuma blue ground vase, by Kozan, Meiji period, finely painted with samurai in a landscape, the reverse with women and children in a landscape, gilt decorated cobalt blue neck and borders, gilt six character mark to base ‘Da Nihon, Kozan so’, 46cm high

Slight wear to the gilding on the rim and occasionally to the body, some of the flower heads have silvering which is tarnished, otherwise in good condition.
