A late 18th century polychrome floral silk work embroidery of a cornucopia of flowers and a butterfly above, dated 1770, together with an early 19th century embroidery of a spray of roses surrounded by a floral border, within an unusual star burst gilt painted frame,
cornucopia embroidery 27cm wide x 34.5cm high (2). Condition - the 19th century embroidery the silk is torn and worn in places, and frame has two pieces of carved edging missing, the earlier embroidery has stains to the background. Both embroideries the coloured silks are strong.
