A Chinese pale celadon jade plaque, 17th/18th century, now inset into a hongmu box, the jade plaque reticulated and carved with a phoenix amid tendrils, lotus flower and prunus blossom, within a border of convex discs, 6.5cm wide, later inset into a 19th century Chinese hongmu box, total width 11.3cm

Condition:
The Jade plaque is loose and there are two minute nicks to the edge on two corners, otherwise in good condition. The lid of the box has been split and reglued at all of the joints, the base of the box is in good condition
