The land, with the names of the adjoining owners, is described acre by acre; the list of five witnesses is headed by Peter de Brugge, who became custodian of the manor of Cholderton on the death of its owner, doubtless from plague, in 1349, and bought it in 1363. At the time of the grant, Peter de Brugge was at the end of his service as sheriff of Hampshire.

2 1 acre in the East Field between two furlongs called Middelfurlanges, and there is a foreland on either side
3 1 acre in the West Field, in a furlong called Wysshulle (S: land of William Lammays; N: land of John Lekford; heading W: the furlong called Dychfurlang)
Pasture for 35 sheep in all the places of common pasture in East Cholderton, and also in the pasture called Fryemannegroten
