Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint rather dark and dirty with a fine but stable craquelure running through most of the paint, a little flaking near the lower right corner, stretcher marks showing, housed in a 19th century gilt gesso frame which has a number of small losses, no labels or inscriptions verso, looks to date to the 19th century.
