Condition:
Oil on canvas cleaned and relined within the past 10 years or so, canvas remains tight and paint in good clean condition but for a little surface dust, one or two tiny scuff marks showing, housed i a period giltwood frame which is in fair order, an old handwritten label on the stretcher, giving details of the sitter and adding cousin of Gregory Wale Esq. of Little Shelford Cambridgeshire, known by the title of Judge Wale.
