A Distinguished Flying Medal group awarded to Flight Sergeant A. Savage, comprising of the Distinguished Flying Medal together with the Atlantic Star, the 1939-1945 Star and the War Medal, the medal ribbon bar and a letter to Sergeant A. Savage signed by ‘his friends and neighbours in Old Cote Drive’; as a small token of admiration on the occasion of his being decorated with the Distinguished Flying Medal, as well as a painted cast emblem for RAF 519 Squadron mounted on an oak shield. Condition - fair to good, some wear to the surface of the medals and ribbons, and cracks to the cast emblem
