A late Victorian Georgian style ebonised eight day chiming bracket clock in arched case, the silvered dial with eight bells / Westminster selector dial and slow / fast adjustment at 12 o'clock, movement with winged hourglass makers stamp, numbered 1464, striking on a gong and chiming on eight bells, 34cm wide, 24cm deep, 51cm high

Possibly marked for Francillon& Co. Leipzig. Slightly somewhat neglected untouched condition, the ebonised finish is now very dull with loss of the paint from the painted metal top plate, short cracks running across the top of the case and smaller vertical cracks to the sides, front door is locked shut and no key present, dial looks to have the original silvered finish but oxidisation marks running vertically down it, left side escutcheon with chipping around the edges, both grills oxidised, brass work oxidised, back door with losses to veneers around the edges and slightly pushed in oxidised metal grill, lock is original but no key present, movement complete and going but not tested for timekeeping, comes with an old winding key.
