Signatures now faded and indistinct; all that is feintly legible is around the laces, “Stamford Bridge Ground, 12/10/35” and “Attendance 89,905. Result 1-1”. Leather and seams not torn or otherwise damaged but condition in keeping with age; the ball rattles with unknown contents. The script date of the fixture does appear more like 11/10/… and the script attendance does appear more like 83,905.
