Condition:
Ink and watercolour on grey paper, very light creasing showing towards the lower left corner and a few small dirt marks, application of the green watercolour paint over the flowing robes and also used to a lesser extent over the last two letters of well, under glass in a gilt scroll frame, pencil inscription retained along with a further ink inscription on the back with attribution to Crane however he died in 1915 and The Well of Loneliness was published in 1928.
