Condition:
Oil on canvas which has been strengthened with paint applied to the back, the canvas remains tight, paint looks very dirty and rather dried out with fine craquelure running through much of it which is starting to lift in places, some flaking alraedy notable, one white scuff mark to the left beneath the white donkey, should restored to good effect, housed in an old and probably original gilt gesso frame which is in fair order, old hand inscribed paper label on the stretcher.
