An unusual Chinese gold splashed censer, ding, Xuande mark, 17th/18th century, the tapering cylindrical body and pair of ear-shaped handles with gold splash decoration, on three squat cabriole feet, cast six character ‘Da Ming Xuande nian zhi’ mark to base, 10cm wide, 7.5cm high

Some tiny nicks to the rim of the censer and a few tiny dents to one side, occasional small casting imperfections around the edge and inside of the foot, largely original patination, in good condition.
