A Chinese yellow ground ‘phoenix’ bowl, Daoguang mark and of the period (1821-50), the exterior painted with four different phoenixes amid exotic flowers, on a yellow ground, the interior and base turquoise glazed, six character iron red ‘Da Qing Daoguang nian zhi’ seal mark to the base, 20.5cm diameter, glaze discoloured inside

Condition:
The turquoise glaze interior has been discoloured by water residue, occasional wear to the gilding on the rim, slight speckling to the yellow ground, otherwise in good condition.
