Condition:
Oil on canvas covered with a board at the back but possible relined, canvas has certainly seen some old repairs notably a repaired tear below Venus's foot, otherwise slight stretcher marks showing and overall looking rather dirty, a small hole to the extreme left of the signature, housed in a later slip frame, typed label verso.
