A Simon & Halbig bisque doll, German, circa 1888, impressed SH5 949, with open mouth and upper teeth, weighted blue glass eyes, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, ball-jointed and wood composition body, in white shift, 14in.

Condition:
Head and body good; clothing fragile but fair to good. Since photography, the doll’s head has been turned around, now facing forward; wig removed, eyes sleep although left eyelid section of skin-coloured paint missing. Head may be original to body.
