Condition:
Looks to have been repolished and restored relatively recently, overall colour is a rich dark treacle tone with a bright state of polish, a few small edge cracks to the top and one small loss of veneer at the back right corner, division between the top two drawers is missing a section of timber, handles are later replacements, locks look original but no key, once stood upon a raised stand, bun feet are later, marquetry may well be a later embellishment.
