Condition:
Oil on original canvas which remains tight, two old partially patched tear marks 10 inches down from 12 o'clock with a little white stain alongside a V shaped dent to the left of the suckling child with a further white stain running down from it and an old patched repair low down on the right hand side, would benefit from a light clean, signed lower left, housed in the original ebonised oak frame which is a little scuffed, various label remnants on the stretchers, including one with the partial title 'The B...'.
