Condition:
Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, canvas very slightly saggy with stretcher marks showing through, paint rather dirty with a fine craquelure running throughout and two tiny white flake marks in the dark area near his chin, no sign of any inscription or signature, housed in a period ornate giltwood and gesso frame which is in fair condition, no labels or inscriptions verso. No issues noted under UV.
