Oil on wooden panel in good honest untouched condition, perhaps a little dirty with some fine craquelure particularly running down the right hand lower side and his robes beneath the table, signed lower right, housed in the original ornate gilt gesso scroll frame which has a few small losses, a small black and white photograph retained verso showing the artist with the owners of this painting c.1910.
