Title lt. marked, some other intermittent spots etc., but gen. a good crisp copy; new e/ps. and blanks. (32, 268, 156) pp. nb. agrees with Griffiths p.101 as to signatures - although the 2nd paginatiion is given (incorrectly) as 168. However, our copy has the catchword 'Certaine' on this last page (the four following pages having been excised on the orders of The King) , a point not noted in the Griffiths description; see ESTC. S101893. The Psalter's title is also within a decorated border. Bound after is: the Psalmes of King David... title with an elaborate pictorial border, music notation, old ms. note p.5, London: printed by Thomas Harper, 1636. pp.(1), 147 pp. browning on final leaf, but gen. good
