Condition:
Oil on canvas realigned many years ago, canvas remains tight, stretcher marks showing, paint and varnish rather dirty with a dried out craquelure running throughout the paint which is just starting to flake particularly towards the top right corner but also in smaller places elsewhere. Housed in a period gilt gesso scroll frame which has numerous losses, no labels or inscriptions verso.
