Box-base top of rear with several chips immediately beneath the ormolu mount; large shallow chip to rear of cover, all no doubt caused by impacts when cover contacts base on opening; further repaired shallow chip to side of cover; underside with one shallow chip at front canted corner; some wear to underside.
