Queen Maud of Norway a signed presentation photograph, dated 1899 in a simple gilt plaster frame, surmounted with a crown resting on a cushion. Queen Maud was the daughter of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. As Princess Maud of Wales, she married Prince Carl of Denmark in 1896. Prince Carl became King Haakon VII of Norway in 1906 and Princess Maud became Queen Consort of Norway. 29 x 20cm
