Condition:
Dial looks original, discoloured to a dark cream tone and heavily crazed with chipping and losses around the fixing columns and chipping around the screws at nine and 6 o’clock. Case of good rich even colour but with some losses to veneers around the base, has what looks like the original pendulum which is damaged at the top. Only two pegs holding the face and movement in place, movement has a rounded rectangular backplate stamped 278 but no other marking, single fusee movement looks to have been overhauled relatively recently. Moulding around the side door all missing, no key present. Painted dial is 23.5 cm.
