£800-1,200

Condition:
There are small losses to the enamel on the Dragons heads at the top of the frame. All of the cabochon stones have some natural inclusions but one of the rose quartz stones at the 10 o’clock position may have been chipped. Some tarnish to the white metal and the mane of the dragons are bent out of position, otherwise in reasonable condition. No stamps to the frame so under UK hallmarking laws we cannot describe the frame as silver, cabochons are natural stones. Provenance - Mr W G Pullen (d.1994), former Deputy Chairman of Standard and Chartered Banking Group Ltd. and of the Asian section of the British National Export Council. His banking career spanned 1925 to 1974 in which he spent much time in Hong Kong and Malaysia.
